Support for Veterans & Spouses:
- They are over age 65.
- They are a Veteran, a spouse of a living Veteran, or a surviving spouse of a Veteran.
- The Veteran served in “Active Military” status for 90 days during an approved time of war: WWII, Korean War, or Vietnam War.
- The Veteran had an honorable discharge.
- The Veteran or surviving spouse meets income requirements.
- The Veteran, spouse of a living Veteran, or surviving spouse of a Veteran needs regular assistance with bathing, grooming, meal preparation, etc., to stay independent in their home or chosen residence.

The VA Community Care Network/VACCN Requires the Veteran to Comply with the Following:
- Military, naval, or air service members who were separated under any condition other than dishonorable.
- Current and former members of the Reserves or National Guard who were called to active duty (other than for training) by a federal order and completed the full period for which they were called or ordered to active duty.
- Served 24 continuous months or the full period for which they were eligible. (exception: Those discharged for hardship or received and "early out").
- The veteran meets income requirements.
